The achieved prestige does not come alone; but rather, it is relished after years of experience and continuous work.

L.A Cetto Winery History

1928

Our history begins so many years ago, when in 1928 a visionary man, Don Angelo Cetto, with great conviction and strength, planted in the fertile lands of Baja California, the noble European wine tradition. Making use of his skills and knowledge acquired in his native Trentino, Italy.

1951

In 1951, a second generation followed in the steps of our company’s founder. Don Luis Agustín Cetto, faithful to his father´s tradition, consolidated our brand in the privileged Valle de Guadalupe. Time later, in 1965, Engineer Camillo Magoni arrived from Morbegno, Italy, to become our highly talented enologist, who quickly consolidated the maturity and quality within our wines.

1983 to the Present Date.

The quality and expertise of so many years bore its greatest results in 1983, when the first varietals of the L.A. Cetto line were released to the market and in a short amount of time became the most desired wines by the most demanding palates. Finally, after a long period of dedication and fulfilled dreams, in 1983, a third generation was tasked wiht the family tradition: Luis Alberto Cetto, committed himself to the purpose of reinforcing the growth and strength of the company, the history of his family, contributing to the opening of the international markets for Mexican wines, while expanding the circle of consumers in our country.
